GHLF- Thinkhat Strategic Collaboration- Combating Clinician Burnout

Donate

Objective: In strategic collaboration with Thinkhat, the Clinician Burnout Initiative addresses the growing issue of burnout among healthcare providers, which significantly impacts care quality and patient outcomes. The project focuses on improving workflows, reducing administrative burdens, and enhancing the clinician-patient encounter to support healthcare system performance.

Scope: The partnership focuses on: Redesigning the Clinician-Patient Encounter: Streamlining workflows and reducing burnout through innovative tools developed with Thinkhat, enhancing efficiency and improving patient care. Supporting Women Clinicians and Patients: Women clinicians face disproportionate rates of burnout due to workload demands, emotional labor, and systemic challenges, particularly in high-demand fields like obstetrics and gynecology. This project aims to address these challenges while improving care quality for all patients, including women. Developing a Framework for Responsible AI: Establishing a practical and ethical framework for implementing responsible AI in clinical settings, designed to serve as a model for other companies. This initiative may culminate in a white paper publication to share best practices and drive industry-wide adoption of responsible AI principles. By addressing clinician burnout systemically, this initiative not only improves workforce well-being but also enhances the quality of care for all patients, with a meaningful impact on women’s health.
